Canadian-born and raised in American border towns, I grew up perceiving the world through two lenses. This juxtaposition sparked creativity in me at a young age which put me on the path to song-write. Through the inspiration of my mother and the opportunities provided at my church, I grew not just aa musician or songwriter, but also as a worship leader.
In 2015, I relocated back to the USA to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College. My faith developed into a firm foundation during my time there and I was granted the ability to travel. I was privileged to spend time living and traveling throughout Ireland, absorbing the ancient Irish traditions of story-telling through song. This paired with my heartland roots has influenced my sound over the years. My music spans the transcendence of nature to the inner workings of the heart.
After settling in Southern Ohio with my family, I found community and opportunity through which I was continuously inspired me to write. Though I've studied classical piano (through the Royal Conservatory in Canada) and violin, along with Irish Fiddle and Dance ... I prefer exploring the transparency of the singer/songwriter genre with a guitar in my hand.
When not writing, singing, or performing at local Dayton, Ohio music venues -- my hands are ordinarily in the earth cultivating new life... My favorite places to find solace are in the woods on hike, or in my home nestled up in a wing back chair by a roaring fire with a book in my hand and my dog at my feet.
I hope my stories resonate with yours as we journey together in the quest of authenticity through music.
